Meet the Handsome Sons of Lorna Tolentino and the Late Actor Rudy Fernandez

Seasoned veteran actress Lorna Tolentino or Victoria Lorna Perez Aluquin-Fernandez in real life has two sons from her late husband, Philippines’ action and film icon Rudy “Daboy” Fernandez.

Lorna Tolentino or sometimes called L.T., an abbreviation of her screen name, had two boys with Rudy named Raphael, and Renz Marion grew up under the limelight and still honing their crafts to become better actors like their parents.

But unlike some grown-up men out there, her two boys can be seen with her most of the time as the two of them developed strong ties with their celebrity mother.

The two handsome and talented ‘daboys’ or sons of Lorna and Rudy is the fruit of their beautiful 25-year marriage.

Raphael “Rap” Gregor Fernandez is their eldest son, who was born on December 18, 1983. He joined the entertainment industry and became an actor and film director, where he used his expertise as a budding filmmaker by making a documentary about him entitled “The Last Pinoy Action King,” which serves as a tribute to his father.

He was cast in the 2005 films Kadugo, Salamin, and Serbisyong Bayan. Rap also played the main antagonist role in “Wansapanataym Presents: Buhawi Jack” in 2011. As of the moment, we can see him on FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano as the debauch police officer SPO4 Juanito Gapuz.

Lorna and Rudy’s other son, Renz Marion, is also an actor who started as a contract star of ABS-CBN’s Star Magic, but in 2013, he starred GMA television series Prinsesa ng Buhay Ko as Luis Grande and still remain as a Kapuso actor at the moment.

Renz is also included in the upcoming GMA-7 series, the Filipino adaptation of Descendants of the Sun, where he will be playing as Earl Jimeno.

Meanwhile, the 57-year-old award-winning actress Lorna Tolentino that we used to see doing heart-rending characters in the past stunned many viewers as she portrayed her antagonistic roles in the recent series she starred in – the vicious Mirada Ojeda in Asintado. Currently, she’s with her son Rap in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano as the mysterious Lily Ann Cortez.

But these intimidating characters of her that we see on-screen is far different in real life as Lorna Tolentino is a very loving woman to her one great love and a doting mom to her two beloved sons.

Lorna’s late husband Rudy “Daboy” Fernandez passed away in 2008 because of cancer, but after that sad incident, her relationship with Rap and Renz has grown stronger than ever. It was even revealed in a previous interview of the 57-year-old award-winning actress that since Rudy’s passing, there were times that her kids sleep beside her.

Proving how admirable their relationship as a family was, Rap also shared in a separate interview that his mom and younger brother always help him with the scripts and his role whenever he’s having a new project.
