Kaye Abad And Husband Paul Jake Castillo Chose To Live A Simple Life Despite Their Wealth

37-year-old Filipino-American actress Katherine Grace Abad or better known by her stage name Kaye Abad started her showbiz career in 1993 after she was launched as a member of Star Circle now Star Magic Batch 3.

Kaye starred as a cast on the children’s show Ang TV, followed by several teen-oriented films and TV series.

During her teenage years, she was paired with actor John Lloyd Cruz, and their popular tandem was best remembered in the television series Tabing Ilog, a teen-oriented series that aired from 1999 to 2003. The former on-screen love team was also reported to have a real short relationship in the past.

Unknown to some, the beautiful actress also became the ambassador of Manila International Airport Authority, the government agency for Ninoy Aquino International Airport, since February 13, 2008.

In 2014, Kaye started dating Cebuano businessman and former actor Paul Jake Castillo. The two got engaged in May 2016, where Paul proposed on the 34th birthday of the actress. They tied the knot on December 9, 2016, in a wedding ceremony held in Cebu.

The actress then announced that she was expecting their first child in July 2017. She gave birth to their son, Pio Joaquin, on December 22, 2017, a significant date for their family as it also happens to be Paul Jake’s 33rd birthday.

After their wedding, Kaye decided to take a break from showbiz to focus on their family. The couple settled in Cebu, where Paul’s family owns a large business.

Based on the reports, their family was the owner of the International Pharmaceuticals, Inc., or IPI that already has 14 branches across the country. Their company produces products like Bioderm, Efficascent Oil, and a lot more. For his part, Paul was able to put up his own business called the Yobob Lechon de Cebu.

Many were surprised after it was revealed that the former actor actually comes from a very wealthy family even before he joined showbiz.

Despite the fact that their family can be considered as one of the wealthiest families in the country today, Paul and Kaye still remained humble and down to earth, their social media accounts shows the couple’s simple life which made many netizens admire them even more.
