Zeus Collins Arellano, or also known as Hashtags Zeus Collins, who hails from the province of Rizal was first seen on TV as a housemate in the Civilian Edition of Pinoy Big Brother: 737.
Before he entered the PBB house, Zeus was working as a dancer and model.
It’s not a secret to the public that the 26-year-old dancer and actor did not come from a well-off family. As a matter of fact, Zeus even had to stop his schooling before in order to help his parents who were struggling to make ends meet.
But earlier this year, Zeus was able to finally continue one his dreams for his family, which is to finish the house he started to build in his province of Rizal, right after winning the jackpot prize of P1 Million on ABS-CBN game show Minute To Win It: Last Man Standing:
It will be recalled that last January he faced the “Wheel of a Deal” game or the final challenge, where he was tasked to group 20 playing cards by transferring each card from a center table to five pedestals one at a time according to value.
For a short time allotted, Zeus had to group together all the aces, kings, queens, jacks and 10s one by one while placing them in either an ascending or descending sequence using only his one hand.
During that time, Zeus was joined by celebrity players such as CJ Caguillo, Yam Concepcion, Bayani Agbayani, Judy Ann Santos, Juliana Parizcova Segovia, and Elisse Joson.
With only 7 seconds left, he finished placing all the cards in their proper grouping, making him as the first millionaire for Season 3. Referring to his family, he said, “Para sa inyong lahat ‘to.”
Now, the 26-year-old Hashtags’ member showed off photos of their newly renovated house in Rizal during his comeback on the game show for Minute To Win It: Last Tandem Standing.
“Sobrang nagpapasalamat ako sa Minute To Win It dahil natupad na ‘yung pangarap ko para sa pamilya ko,” he said
Zeus jokingly added, “Appliances na lang ang kulang kaya sumali ulit ako dito.”
As seen in some of the photos, their new family home in Rizal has a simple and modern outdoor and indoor design. Inside the house, you can see that the floor is still shiny, the newly tiled bathroom and even the mattresses are still wrapped in plastic.
