Ogie Alcasid’s Bought Daughter Sarah A Brand New Car For Her 17th Birthday

Herminio Jose Lualhati Alcasid, Jr., or more popularly known as the Filipino singer-songwriter and comedian Ogie Alcaasid had two children from his previous marriage with the Australian beauty queen Michelle van Eimeren, who represented Australia in the 1994 Miss Universe pageant held in the Philippines.

After ending their marriage in 2007, the 52-year-old singer-songwriter and comedian maintained a good relationship with his ex-wife even after marrying Regine Velasquez, whom he already has a son, Nathaniel James (“Nate”), who was born on November 8, 2011. Michelle, on the other hand, is also married to Mark Murrow.

Despite both having their new family now, Ogie Alcasid and Michelle van Eimeren are still good friends as well as with their current partners in life.

But what’s even more important is that Ogie never forgets his duty to his two lovely daughters with his former wife, 21-year-old Leila and his second child Sarah, who just turned 17 this month.

Just recently, the loving and supportive father flew all the way to Sydney, Australia to personally greet her and hand over his surprise gift. Even if he’s living far away from his daughters, Ogie gives his best to catch up with them every now and then to express his love and support to his daughters.

On his Instagram account, Ogie first shared a photo with her second child, Sarah Alcasid, inside a car that appears like he just fetches up Sarah from her school.

The next photo shows the young girl who looked very happy and excited while striking a pose in front of a brand new car that her father gave her. The veteran singer-songwriter wrote in the caption: “Happy bday my dear baby girl! Be safe driving. God bless you, and I love you so much!!!”

Last year, Sarah and Leila flew to the Philippines to join their father in his 30th-anniversary concert “OA,” in Araneta Coliseum. The two participated in the show, which was Sarah’s first-time performance on stage.
