Mariel and Robin Padilla Hosted A Surprise Intimate Baby Shower For Kylie Padilla

26-year-old Kylie Padilla, who is set to give birth to her second child with husband, actor Aljur Abrenica received a wonderful surprise baby shower last Sunday, September 8.

The intimate but elegant gathering was organized by her stepmom Mariel Rodriguez and her father, Robin Padilla. It was held inside Museo De Padilla in Novaliches, Quezon City, the Padilla ancestral house that has been transformed into an events place.

Last July, Mariel, and Robin held a grand baby shower for their second daughter, hosted by the celebrity mom herself.

The soon-to-be mom of two confirmed last month that they are expecting another baby boy in the family as they already have a son named Alas Jaoquin, who was born on 4 August 2017. The celebrity couple has yet to announce their second baby’s name, but they are already calling him as Baby AR.

On Kylie’s Instagram account, the celebrity mom shared some photos taken during her intimate baby shower. She also took the chance to thank all the people who made this wonderful surprise possible.

“Thank you everyone! Na surprise talaga ako. Tita @marieltpadilla and papa @robinhoodpadilla thank you again for making these magical moments happen ? I’ll be making sure AR knows everything you do for him. Thank you to everyone who made it so magical,” she wrote in the caption of the photos.

Kylie and Aljur’s immediate family and close friends attended the said event, where they were all welcomed by an arch of blue and silver balloons and were given pillows and a set of bedroom slippers upon entering the venue styled by “The Party Project”.

It can also be seen in the photos that they also featured a kid’s activity section or a play area where the little kids can entertain themselves while playing at the inflatable playground that comes with a small ball pit.

Kylie also expressed her gratitude to her husband, who successfully managed to keep this surprise baby shower a secret in a separate Instagram post.

The celebrity mom included sweet photos with her husband and their 2-year-old son, Alas.

She wrote:

“Kaya pala tahimik ka lately, ayaw mo siguro mahulaan ko yung secret. Inaway tuloy kita palagi ? can’t wait for our little boy on the way. This party really made it so much more real. Thank you. Sa lahat lahat ❤️.”
