Kapamilya actor Vin Abrenica and 29-year-old actress Sophie Albert first met in reality talent show “Artista Academy” of TV5 in 2012, where both of them emerged as grand winners.

The two officially became a real-life couple shortly after the said reality show. But in 2016, the couple parted ways and confirmed that their breakup was a mutual decision.

In an interview on ABS-CBN late-night talk show “Tonight With Boy Abunda” back in June 2016, the same time he transferred to ABS-CBN, Vin shared that it was a mutual decision so that they can also focus on their respective showbiz careers.

But after their split, the former couple remained good friends and they were even seen together in some photos on their respective Instagram account. Earlier last year, Sophie and Vin’s sweet photos surfaced online as it appears that the two seemed to have found love with each other again.

Recently on Tonight with Boy Abunda, the Kapamilya hunk actor finally confirmed that they reunited, something that is obvious if you’ll check his social media feed that serves as his public declaration of love for Sophie Alberts.

Vin went on to share what exactly happened between them when they broke up three years ago. “That time, we’re having our personal problems including careers. ‘Yong mga nasasabi sa akin ng mga tao na if you’re in a relationship, hindi ka raw kakagatin ng fans… ‘di ka na raw magiging available. So ako, hindi ko alam na all throughout, they’re gonna love you for who you are! Tatanggapin ka nila kung sino ka. Tapos, I realized na I can’t live without her,” he explained.

During his guesting in the show, the King of Talk, Boy Abunda also gave him a surprise birthday greeting letter from her girlfriend Sophie, which Tito Boy reads on-air. Vin gets emotional and burst into tears after the host finished reading Sophie’s message.

In return, the Kapamilya actor shared how much he loves his girlfriend saying: “Kung mawawala siya sa’kin, tingin ko ‘di na ‘ko mag-aasawa… tatanda ako mag-isa. Tingin ko, I changed a lot because of her.”
