Look: Kisses Delavin Is The Pinay Version of Xabara of the Korean Drama Arthdal Chronicles

We all know that many people, especially the Filipinos, are big fans of Korean dramas and K-pop. Many of us are guilty of having a great interest in Korean culture, the way they dressed, how they talk, their food, and so many things about them.

Of course, the Korean films and television series that made us love them even more not only because of their very attractive stars but also because of the new and unpredictable settings in K-dramas, which are different from the programming of the TV series that we are used to.

One of this year’s popular South Korean TV series that K-drama fans shouldn’t miss is Arthdal Chronicles, starring Jang Dong-gun, Song Joong-ki, Kim Ji-won, and Kim Ok-Vin. This fantasy romance television series was directed by Kim Won-seok written by Kim Young-Hyun and Park Sang-Yeon.

It is an epic fantasy drama that tells the story of people in the mythical land of Arth, the inhabitants of the ancient city of Arthdal contend with power struggles, while some encounter love along the way.

Arthdal Chronicles is aired every Saturday and Sunday on tvN at 21:00 (KST) starting from June 1, 2019. It also had already premiered internationally on Netflix.

When the season 3 of this Korean TV series started, a lot of great actors and actresses had entered the scene, including Xabara, the chief of the Momo tribe portrayed by the Japanese actress Erika Karata.

But when Xabara became part of the latest season, many Filipino viewers can’t help but notice that the international actress has a big similarity to one of the young actresses in the Philippines, no other than the 20-year-old Kapamilya actress Kisses Delavin.

By looking at their photos online, these two lovely and young actresses really have some similarities in their physical features.

It was in 2017 when Erika Karata became a member of the Korean agency BH Entertainment, the same agency of famous Korean stars, Gong Seung Yeon, Lee ByungHun, Han GaIn, Han JiMin, Han HyoJoo, and many more. The beautiful actress had also filmed a number of commercials in Korea.

In 2014, Erika was also cast in Chiba (Japan) while she was working part-time in a theme park Mother Farm.

Meanwhile, Kirsten Danielle “Kisses” Tan Delavin is a young Filipina actress, beauty queen, recording artist, influencer, and product endorser. In August 2016, Kisses entered the Pinoy Big Brother house as a teen housemate of the seventh regular season, where she won the spot of Second Big Placer.

After her PBB stint, she started doing several projects with ABS-CBN, including a VJ in Myx Philippines, Wansapanataym, Ipaglaban Mo, and Playhouse.
