Look: Love Team Jolina Magdangal and Marvin Agustin Attended The ABS-CBN Ball Together

Spotted together in the prestigious ABS-CBN Ball 2019 is one of the most popular onscreen love teams of the ‘90s, Jolina Magdangal and Marvin Agustin. The two walked on the red carpet last Saturday, September 14, and brought their iconic loveteam back to life.



Photos and videos of the former love team taken from the said event made rounds online and delighted many of the fans and supporters of Marvin and Jolina all over the country, especially the ‘90s kids.

Based on the photos shared online, Jolina wore a beautiful pink gown by Jo Rubio matched with a halo-like jeweled headband. Marvin, on the other hand, wore a classic barong by JC Buendia.

Meanwhile, the much-awaited ABS-CBN Ball 2019 is a fundraising event set to benefit the Bantay Bata 163’s Bantay Edukasyon program, a project that provides scholarships to underprivileged children. But aside from this, the event will also honor the late founder of the said foundation, Gina Lopez.

Another netizen @CMamosog reacted, “Walang pinagbago sina Jolina at Marvin. Kinikilig pa rin ako sa kanila.”

Jolina and Marvin were first launched as an on-screen partner via the teen-oriented show “Gimik” in 1996. Since then, they have starred in numerous unforgettable series and movies, including Flames: The Movie, Labs Ko si Babe, Radio Romance, Labs Kita… Ok Ka Lang, and Hey Babe in 1999.

Their last film together as ABS-CBN stars was “Kung Ikaw ay Isang Panaginip,” which was released in 2002. The same year Jolina decided to transfer to GMA-7 and Marvin followed in 2006, where they starred together in the Kapuso Network’s I Luv NY series, this is the first Philippine television drama series filmed in New York City. The two then returned to the Kapamilya network in 2015, where they starred in the series “Flordeliza.”

Last March, the two confirmed that they are working for a reunion movie that was first thought that they might be reprising the roles of Bujoy and Ned in the iconic film “Labs Kita… Okey Ka Lang”. But it was recently confirmed that their comeback movie would not push through this year.
