Kapamilya Actress Ivana Alawi Shares About Her Budding Romance With A Kapamilya Actor

In a recent episode of the late-night talk show Tonight With Boy Abunda, Kapamilya’s fast-rising star Ivana Alawi shared about her budding romance with a fellow hot actor from the same network. 

Ivana Alawi’s real name is Mariam Al-Alawi, she’s a half-Filipino and half-Arab, who lived in Bahrain with her father. She had her first Kapamilya drama stint in the afternoon drama Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Araw Gabi, playing Rina, the alluring friend of Mich, portrayed by Barbie Imperial. 

After that, this beautiful and sexy newcomer actress also had her role in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano as Madonna, the captivating girlfriend of the late Eddie Garcia’s character Gustavo. Ivana’s most recent appearance is on the primetime teleserye “Sino Ang Maysala? Mea Culpa,” as the goal-driven champion debater and lawyer Lolita del Rio.

During her TWBA guesting, Ivana answered some questions through the show’s segment, “#ItanongMoSaTWBA.” She was asked by the King of Talk, Tito Boy Abunda if it’s true that the actor turned politician Dan Fernandez has been courting her. 

Ivana denied the allegations that Congressman Dan Fernandez is courting her and added that he is just one of her friends. She went on to share that sometimes they go out with friends, but she clarified that there’s no romantic relationship between the two of them. 

When asked by the host why she doesn’t want to be involved with him, Ivana frankly said that she stays away from womanizers like Dan and prefers a man who sticks to one and is loyal to her. 

She also played a game where Tito Boy would describe an actor and she will have to guess their name and would later reveal if this actor courted her before or what will be her reaction if that actor will court her. 

The first actor she guesses correctly was Kit Thompson, Ivana commented that the actor already has a girlfriend. The next guy was RK Bagatsing, she then shared that she finds him cute and would probably entertain him if he ever courts her in the future. 

The third actor, Coco Martin, Ivana revealed that he is her biggest showbiz crush, she even described him as “super hot.” When it comes to Gerald Anderson’s photo, the Kapamilya actress just merely shook her head and decided not to say a word. 

Meanwhile, the fifth photo revealed Edu Manzano, where Ivana she shared that Edu Manzano used to be her childhood crush. 

Since none of the five actors shown to her courted her, the King of Talk asked her directly if there’s someone courting her right now. To which she replied that she’s being courted by a sexy Kapamilya actor, but she refused to reveal his name as they’re still in the courting phase, she just gave a hint that he’s currently starring in a teleserye in ABS-CBN
