Coco Martin Shares That His First Big Bike Was Given By Dawn Zulueta

Rodel Pacheco Nacianceno or more popularly known as Coco Martin is a Filipino actor, director, and film producer, who earned his break in the entertainment industry through the indie scene. He is best known for playing the lead role in Juan Dela Cruz and his current primetime action-drama series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.

Coco Martin is now dubbed as the “Primetime King” and also the undisputed king of brand endorsement because of the many products he advertised. You might even see him in some of his commercials or ads for a brand of decongestants, toothpaste, canned goods, local brandy, motorcycles, engine lubricant, and many more.

He is also considered as one of the country’s most popular stars, but what’s more impressive about this 37-year-old Kapamilya actor is that with all the blessings he receives, Coco Martin remains as humble as he is from the start.

If you are an avid fan of the actor, then you are aware that he has a passion for motorbikes. The actor also revealed in one of his interviews that riding motorcycles is one thing that gives him pure joy and relaxation.

That’s why aside from owning high-end cars and SUVs, the Primetime King also has an expensive collection of motorbikes.

Coco Martin started riding motorcycles at the age of 16. He used to drive his grandmother’s tricycle after school until the late hours to earn some money to support his studies and help his family. He also narrated that both his father and grandfather were jeepney drivers and that used to be their primary source of living.

When he started earning from doing indie films, the actor decided to buy three tricycles and a brand new jeepney for his father to continue their family business.

He even added that he owns a cheap underbone bike back in college, but this eventually leveled up to big bikes as he got more film and TV projects and product endorsements, which made him a proud owner of not one, not two, but 11 motorcycles, and the majority of those are big bikes.

The 37-year-old Primetime King made a revelation that his very first big bike, which he treasures a lot was given to him as a gift by the multi-awarded actress Dawn Zulueta.

Coco and Dawn co-starred in the 2012 romantic melodrama television series “Walang Hanggan,” which was loosely based on the 1991 Gomez-Zulueta film Hihintayin Kita Sa Langit.
