41-year-old stand-up comedian, host, and actor Ricardo Balarosa Jr., or better known by his stage name Wacky Kiray rose to fame when he joined and was declared as The Greatest Entertainer of ABS-CBN’s entertainment competition show “I Can Do That” in 2017.
After that, Wacky Kiray also became a part of the talent program “I Can See Your Voice.” He also worked for several Kapamilya programs like Gandang Gabi Vice, Pinoy Boyband Superstar, The Voice Kids, Pilipinas Got Talent.
Prior to entering the showbiz industry, he started his career as a stand-up comedian in comedy bars and is currently a mainstay stand-up comedian in Punchline and Laffline comedy bars. No wonder why Wacky Kiray is considered as one of the most hardworking comedians in the country.
Recently, the 41-year-old “Sing-vestigator” took to Instagram to share one of the fruits of his labor, which a brand new 4-storey house in Quezon City.
Two years since he won 1 million pesos from the show “I Can Do That,” Wacky finally fulfilled his goal of having his own abode.
“Nang manalo ako sa I Can Do That last June 2017, ipinangako ko na ilalaan ko ang perang napanalunan para makabili ng bahay. At dahil sa lahat ng programang aking kinabilangan sa ABS-CBN, sa mga producers at bookers na patuloy na niniwala sa aking kakatahan… sa wakas naisakatuparan ko rin siya,” he wrote.
Wacky shared that after winning the said reality show, he made sure to build a simple home from the show’s cash prize. But he didn’t expect that this would open a new door for him to have countless TV projects in ABS-CBN and comedy bar gigs, that’s why the home he dreamed to build finally became a reality.
The famous comedian went on to thank the people who helped him reach the success he enjoys right now, especially the Unkabogable: Praybeyt Benjamin star Vice Ganda, who opened the door for him to have a break in the entertainment industry.
He also mentioned his celebrity friend, Luis Manzano, the host of the hit game show ‘I Can See Your Voice’ for his brand new ref and Director Bobot Mortiz, who gave him a center table as a gift.
As seen in the photos, the different parts of this 55-square-meter house, includes the living area and pantry, second-floor kitchen, and his bedroom with walk-in closet. It also has balconies on all floors and a rooftop where he can lounge and bond with his family and friends.
Many admired him for serving as a true inspiration to everyone by proving that nothing is impossible with determination and perseverance in life.
