Look: Eagle Riggs Met and Forgive The Motorcycle Rider Who Hits Him In Palawan

After the vehicular accident that the 52-year-old TV host and comedian Eagle Riggs recently suffered in Palawan, many were touched when he chose to withdraw the case against the reckless motorcycle rider who cause him harm.

Last August 19, it was reported that comedian-host got involved in a road accident. He was hit by a speeding motorcycle while crossing a road in Barangay Bancao-Bancao, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, at around 5:00 a.m.

Eagle suffered some bruises on his face and a broken right leg. He was immediately taken to the nearest hospital for emergency medical treatment and was later transferred to Cooperative Hospital, where he underwent an operation that requires insertion of metal on his leg.

Based on the reports, he visited Palawan to do some shows in the province and has planned to roam around this place before going back to Manila. But unfortunately, the accident happened, and he was still confined in the said hospital.

The TV host and comedian initially wanted to file a case against the motorcycle rider, who was identified as Rey Vincent Pacaldo, a construction worker. But after meeting him in person, Eagle has decided not to file a formal complaint anymore and forgive him.

In a video shared online, Eagle gets emotional when the motorcycle rider went to the hospital together with his wife, to personally ask for his forgiveness.

Both Rey Vincent and the comedian host burst out with tears as the rider walked toward the hospital bed and hugged him while sincerely asking for forgiveness.

It can be heard in the video that instead of being angry to the rider, Eagle even gave him an advice to always be vigilant and careful while driving on the road for the sake of his family and children.

“Mahalin mo ang pamilya mo mahalin mo ang mga anak mo mag iingat na sa pagmamaneho,” he said.

The 52-year-old TV host and comedian had a personal request for Rey Vincent:

“Sana makita mo ulit ako sa kalsada, bumusina ka ha kahit di ako, kahit sino pa yan buhay yan. Mag mga pamilya yan,” Eagle added.

He also requested the motorcycle rider and his wife to join him in prayers for his immediate recovery and asked them also to visit him often while he’s still in the hospital.
