Liza Soberano Goes Back To School To Pursue A Degree In Psychology

Kapamilya actress Liza Soberano is taking her studies seriously as she is now finally back to school and is excited to get back to learning.

Last May, the actress had to take a break from showbiz due to her finger injury and underwent two surgeries in the United States. Liza just returned to the country last month, but she’s now back up on her feet and recently announced that she’s also back in school.

On Instagram, Liza shared a photo last August 19, Monday, showing the actress while taking some notes inside a room.

The 21-year-old actress seems to be enjoying this class session with her teacher as she wrote in the caption of the photo, “What I like most about being a student is the joy of discovering new things and appreciating what the world has to offer. Glad to be back.”

Liza is pursuing a degree in BS Psychology at Southville International School and Colleges in Las Piñas City.

Liza officially enrolled in the said school in July 2018, where celebrities like her are only required to attend school at least once a week for written examinations, finish hands-on exercises, and participating in lectures and discussion about related topics with their instructors as they’re under Southville’s INNOVE Education Solution program.

In an earlier interview, the actress said that she already set her eyes on taking psychology as her pre-law degree, but is now taking up one day at a time and wished to pursue a degree in psychology.

“I wanted it to be my pre-law, but right now I’m kind of like more on the psychology side instead of the law side,” Liza said.

In a separate post, Southville International School and College official Facebook page uploaded a photo of Liza with her fellow actress Jodi Sta. Maria, who is also taking up a degree in Psychology in the same school.

Jodi, on the other hand, is already on her last semester before she graduates from college. In her previous semester, Jodi finished as a top honor student with a 3.8 GPA.

The 37-year-old actress took Psychology to help people cope with mental health issues. She also shared earlier that she is planning to take a Master’s degree when she finishes her undergraduate studies.
