Following the success of the first time pairing of Alden Richards with Kapamilya prime actress Kathryn Bernardo in the blockbuster film “Hello, Love, Goodbye.” It is not surprising that the 27-year-old Kapuso actor is set to dominate the new breed of stars of his home network.
The film, which was directed by award-winning and blockbuster director Cathy Garcia- Molina has reportedly earned more than 600 million on its seventh day of showing and received plenty of positive reviews from both fans and critics. It is also considered so far as the most successful movie from the ABS-CBN production outfit for 2019.
Many were also surprised to see the unexpected chemistry of the two of the biggest stars from rival networks, which made the public more curious about the real love life status of the film’s leading man.
Prior to this film, there are rumors surfacing that Pambansang Bae Alden Richards and the Pinay beauty queen Teresita Ssen “Winwyn” Marquez have a brewing romance.
The rumors linking them even went higher after Winwyn was spotted attending the opening of Alden’s new fast-food franchise branch in Laguna.
Because of this, the 27-year-old actress and beauty queen decided to finally clarify the real score between her and fellow Kapuso star, Alden.
In the press conference of her afternoon drama series “Dahil sa Pag-ibig,” Winwyn just laughs off the rumor and told the press that she and Alden are just good friends.
She said:
“I just laughed it off. I was surprised—saan nanggaling ’yun? And the funny thing is that some of the things I have seen come with these elaborate stories worthy of Wattpad … in fairness!”
The 2017 Reina Hispanoamericana winner added that she was just invited to attend Alden’s restaurant opening, which, of course, she accepted gladly. The two celebrities of GMA – 7 Network have known each other since working together in the 2012 series “One True Love,” and have since become close friends.
“I was invited — nabigyan lang ng malisya, they gave it a different meaning…“It seems like everyone gets linked to him!” she added.
She went on to say that she’s on good terms with Alden and they’re both comfortable with each other.
“We talk about personal stuff. We like or comment on each other’s posts on Instagram. I can ask him for advice and he listens; it’s not all joke time. He’s kind, a good person. He’s charming and is sweet to everyone. I think anyone can fall for him.”
The Kapuso actress said that for now, she is not open yet into entering a new relationship as she still wants to enjoy her single life.
It will be recalled that earlier this year, Winwyn confirmed her breakup with actor Mark Herras, whom she has been together with for two years.
