Just recently, the 36-year-old expectant mother Chynna Ortaleza threw a baby shower and held a maternity shoot for her second baby. The celebrity mom and her husband, musician Kean Cipriano already had a name for the new member of the Cipriano family — Baby Salem!
On Sunday, July 14, the soon-to-be mom-of-two hosted a Bibliotheque or a vintage library-inspired baby shower at Tweedle Book Cafe in Quezon City.
The celebration of the coming birth of Baby Salem was attended by their friends and family. Chynna and Kean welcomed the guests into their lovely venue, where guests were instantly transported into an old-world scene and can almost smell the scent of slowly-decomposing books.
As seen in the series of photos posted by Chynna on Instagram, the venue was decorated with fresh white flowers, black and yellow balloons, candles in different sizes, a huge bookshelf full of good reads, vintage chandeliers, and topped it all off with miniature owls hanging on the ceiling or near the shelves.
Celebrity friends of the couple including Ryza Cenon, Isabel Oli along with her husband John Prats, Sheena Halili and her fiance Jeron Manzanero were present at the event, plus a few other close friends and relatives.
Last April, the celebrity couple happily shared the news that they are expecting another baby, almost three years after they welcomed their first child Stellar in April 2016.
Following the celebration of the arrival of their baby boy, Salem, the 36-year-old actress shared the stunning photos taken from her book-themed maternity shoot with husband Kean Cipriano and firstborn Stellar.
The creative maternity shoot took place inside a room full of books that her late father Gryk Ortaleza left with her.
In an Instagram post showing the gorgeous mom surrounded by what seems like magical floating books, Chynna remembered her father through writing: “Papa. You never really left. I feel your energy in every book that you left in my care. The boy in my womb will be born into this wealth of literature. May I be able to pass down your unending romance with books to your grandchild. Overwhelmed but Hopeful. ~Lara Serena~.”
The proud mom shared another post capturing her 3-year-old daughter Stellar’s very own moment, where she sported her little plaid dress and shiny small boots.
Followed by two other photos showing Chynna and Kean as they sat down on the floor covered with scattered books, lamps, and a huge vintage mirror that shows a different view of their images.
