The Megastar of Philippine entertainment industry, Sharon Cuneta is also known as one of the celebrities here who own expensive collection of jewelry pieces and accessories.
Despite her passion for such things and the fact that their family could well afford expensive things, the Megastar recently revealed that when it comes to her second eldest daughter Frankie, whom she fondly calls Kakie, Sharon never brought her expensive or branded stuff since she was a toddler.
Now that her 18-year-old daughter is bound to the United States to pursue her college studies, Kakie received a wonderful going-away gift from her celebrity mom — a pair of Chanel footwear, which is her first branded footwear.
In an Instagram post last July 9, the 53-year-old celebrity mom, Sharon shared a photo of her gift to her daughter, Frankie, before she goes off to college on her own abroad. Sharon also wrote on the photo,
“Good daughters get good shoes Kakie’s first pairs of investment footwear from Mama.”
Part of the caption read, “Surprised Kakie today by asking Madel of @madeloveluxe to come over with several pairs of footwear to have Kakie choose from. Her first branded ones since she was a toddler! She’s been a really good kid – a loving daughter – and I wanted her to pick some good pairs for when she goes off to college. Thank you, Madel for gifting me with beautiful black Prada sneakers and gifting Kakie with her first Chanel sneakers! We love you! And I truly love my Kakie.”
Sharon went on to share Kakie’s initial reaction upon receiving her gift and added how she and her husband, Kiko Pangilinan raised their kids. The celebrity mom also revealed that she only gives her kids a “modest budget” for shopping, so that they will also learn the real value of hard-earned money.
“She was naiiyak because we have always given our children a modest budget for shopping, and they aren’t spoiled and have very few expensive things. That way, they know the value of hard-earned money and appreciate it so much when they receive well-made investment pieces. She was so happy! Eighteen na siya and I am grateful she never turned into a monster throughout her teenage years! Hahaha! #offtocollege#collegegirl I love you Baba! @frankiepangilinan,” she stated.
Simone Francesca Emmanuelle Pangilinan or simply Frankie is Sharon Cuneta’s eldest daughter with husband Kiko Pangilinan, the couple welcomed their eldest child on December 2000. Currently, they have two other children, 14-year-old daughter Miel, and their 9-year-old son Miguel.
