Kapuso comedian and director Michael V. or Beethoven del Valle Bunagan in real life is married to Carol Bunagan for more than 2 decades now. The couple was blessed with four kids namely Milo, Brianna, Migo, and Maypaul.
Earlier this year, the 49-year-old comedian-actor marked their 25th anniversary by renewing his vow with wife Carol in a beach wedding in Palawan.
Recently, the comedian and director shared the two things that help keep their marriage alive: honesty and love. He shared this during the press conference of his upcoming movie with Dawn Zulueta titled “Family History”.
“Honesty. ‘Yung love talaga, ‘yun kailangan hindi pwede mawala, ‘yung lahat ng aspeto ng pagmamahalan dapat andoon,” the 49-year-old comedian-actor said.
Micheal V also added that material things are not their basis to have a healthy and happy family.
“Ang nakita ko during the course ng pagiging family for more than 25 years, e, ‘yong hindi kailangan ng material things para maging masaya. The fact na magkakasama kayo, okay na,” he added.
Family History is a heart-warming movie that centers on the value of life, family, and marriage, the movie is set for a nationwide release on July 24.
Meanwhile, this movie is a co-production between Mic Test Entertainment, Inc. and GMA Pictures, where Michael V go behind the cameras and direct himself for his directorial debut.
Joining him in the cast are Dawn Zulueta, John Estrada, Paolo Contis, Bianca Umali, Miguel Tanfelix, Nonie Buencamino, Ina Feleo, Kakai Bautista, Mikoy Morales, Nikki Co, Vince Gamad, Jemwell Ventinilla, and special cameo roles from Dingdong Dantes and Eugene Domingo.
But aside from directing this family-drama movie, Michael V is also the one who wrote the story and a co-producer of this movie since his wife Carol, who happened to be his manager is the Executive Producer (Mic Test Entertainment, Inc.) of Family History.
