This newly graduated student from the Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU) missed his deceased mother so much, especially on his recent graduation day, which is definitely one of the most important and unforgettable events in his life.

Paulo John Alinsog knows that it’s his late mother’s biggest dream to attend his college graduation, but since his mother, Carmen already passed away in 2016. The graduating student made sure that her late mom would not miss this important moment by bringing a life-sized standee of her on his graduation ceremony.

He wrote:
“Sa pinakamaganda kong nanay! Ma, graduate na panganay mo. Sana happy ka dyan sa piling ni God. Ito ang gusto mo kaya tinapos ko. Mahal na mahal kita.”

He even joked in the post about hopefully graduating with Latin honor, ‘sana cum laude.’

Looking at his now-viral photos, the newly graduate flashed a big smile on his face as he held on the standee of his beautiful mother, who is surely proud up there because of her eldest son’s latest achievement.
