Kapamilya actress Bea Alonzo has finally opened up about her relationship with boyfriend Gerald Anderson. The actress began making headlines last Sunday, July 21, after posting a cryptic message on her Instagram account, implying she has been betrayed.
Rumors and speculations from the netizens started to arise when the actress liked a post of an Instagram user claiming that Gerald Anderson and his Between Maybes co-star Julia Barretto were seen being sweet together at the birthday celebration of Rayver Cruz in Taguig, the same day the actress posted the cryptic Instagram post.
On July 26, the 31-year-old actress finally broke her silence in front of the media after the press conference for her new teleserye alongside Richard Gutierrez.
When Bea was asked by the media about the real score between her and boyfriend Gerald Anderson, she said that as far as she’s concerned, there was no breakup. Her boyfriend just stopped talking to her.
“Honestly, to my understanding, we did not break up. He just started not talking to me.” she said.
The media also asked the actress about her intriguing Instagram post, which she replied that she no longer needed to explain herself.
“Sa tingin ko, wala na akong kailangan ipaliwanag tungkol doon,” Bea answered.
Bea also added that the support she continuously receives from her showbiz friends and colleagues has been helping her a lot to move forward from this issue.
“Malaking bagay ‘yong support from friends,” she told the press. “Sobrang thankful ako na they’re here for me this time.”
It will be recalled that Bea and Gerald used to have a short-lived relationship in 2010, Then, the two rekindled their relationship in 2016 when they co-starred in the movie How to Be Yours.
In 2018, rumors surfaced again that the two have called it quits, but October that year, Bea admitted that she had given Gerald a second chance.
