Kapamilya singer and actress Angeline Quinto gave an update about mother, Sylvia Quinto, who she fondly calls Mama Bob, after undergoing an operation involving the replacement of her heart’s pacemaker.
Last Saturday, July 20, the 29-year-old singer and actress happily announced through Instagram stories that the operation of her Mama Bob was a success as she shared a photo from the hospital room, with the caption “Praise God.”
The Queen of Teleserye Theme Songs also asked for prayers from her fans on Twitter, hours before the said operation.
Maraming Salamat po,” Angeline said via Twitter.

The talented singer-actress is known to be very close to her Mama Bob, who is her adoptive mother, there were times that Angeline would bring her mother with her during her tapings so she could personally take care of her. Based on a report, it was only in 2012 when she met her biological mother.
In a previous interview on ABS-CBN’s lifestyle-morning talk show Magandang Buhay, the loving daughter said that there wouldn’t be an Angeline Quinto right now if not for her Mama Bob.
