Kadenang Ginto star Beauty Gonzalez is 15 years younger than her husband art curator Norman Crisologo. But although age gap is not an unusual thing anymore as we have a saying “age doesn’t matter” when it comes to love, we still can’t deny the fact that there are people who still make a fuss out of it, especially for a showbiz personality like in the case of Beauty.
Just like couples that also belongs in what they call the May-December love affair, Beauty and her husband had received negative comments and reactions from other people over their once-controversial 15-year age gap.
The couple shared some details about their relationship in a campaign for a popular toothpaste brand. They detailed how their romantic affair began, the challenges they had to face early on in their relationship, the unforgettable moments they shared together, and their realizations throughout their journey as a couple.
In a short campaign video featuring their story, Beauty and Noman recounted being called nasty names such as “gold digger” and “D.O.M” due to their huge age gap. Norman also added that Beauty’s mother used to worry a little before because of their relationship and was questioned by the people around them.
However, these things never hindered them to fight for their relationship and proved that their love for each other is indeed genuine.
Beauty’s husband also revealed that after seeing her on a magazine cover, he was totally smitten by her ravishing allure. Norman then immediately called all his friends in showbiz to get her contact number and he asked her for a date afterward.
The actress’ showbiz best friend, Ellen Adarna, later revealed through one of her Instagram posts that she was the one who introduced them to one another and acted as their cupid.
The Kadenang Ginto star uploaded a candid photo of them together on Instagram that captured the hearts of her followers, with the heartwarming caption she wrote in the photo.

The couple became doting parents to an adorable baby girl named Olivia Ines, who was born in February 2016. Beauty confirmed her pregnancy in October 2015, which has been rumored as the reason why she left the morning series “Ningning.” After that, the couple tied the knot on May 6, 2017, through a garden ceremony in Tagaytay City.
