22-year-old former child actor Makisig Morales recently tied the knot with his Fil-Aussie beauty queen girlfriend Nicole Joson in an intimate sunset wedding ceremony in Australia.
The former child actor first rose to fame as the main star of the Kapamilya primetime series “Super Inggo” in 2006. After that, he also landed big-screen roles and appeared in other TV shows and movies.
In 2014, Makisig Morales left the showbiz industry and migrated to Australia with his family, but he returned to the country in 2018 to star in the fantaserye “Bagani” along with Liza Soberano, Enrique Gil, and Matteo Guidicelli.
Last year, the former child actor surprised his Filipino fans when he announced his engagement to Nicole Joson in September.
According to a report by PUSH, the couple tied the knot last Monday, June 17, and chose a simple all-white beach theme for them and their guests.
Their intimate wedding was held at a beach in the south-eastern area of La Perouse in Sydney.
Meanwhile, the young actor’s best friend in showbiz, Jairus Aquino got surprised in his engagement with Nicole.
In a previous interview, Jarius shared his initial reaction to Makisig’s engagement last year.
“Uy bro ano ‘to? Tinawagan ko agad siya. Tapos tumatawa lang siya. Sabi niya, ‘Wala bro, things happened eh,” Jairus said.
But despite being surprised and shocked at the same time, he said that he will still support his friend for as long as he’s happy with his decision.
“Kung saan siya masaya dun lang din ako. Kung meron man tayong ibang mga naririnig na issue or what, basta I’m happy for him. Yun lang yun,” he added.
Makisig, on the other hand, shared in a previous article the reason why he decided to propose to his Fil-Aussie beauty queen girlfriend.
“Siguro dahil ayoko nang patagalin pa. Kasi mararamdaman mo yun eh, mararamdaman mo na siya na talaga. Sa totoo lang hindi ko ma-explain yung feeling eh,” Makisig said.
