Student Sells Home-made Dish Online In Order To Pay His School Balance Before Graduation

One of the best feelings for students is when they have taken their grad photos as it could also mean that graduation day is finally approaching, and it’s their time to celebrate.

However, for this student named Hans Steve Nieva, even though he already wore the toga for the graduation photo shoot, he still feels differently while trying to smile to the camera because he is not yet sure if he will be marching with his classmates in their upcoming graduation ceremony.

This is because he still has an outstanding balance in his school that he needs to settle first before he will be allowed to join in their graduation at the Philippine International Convention Center or PICC in Pasay, Metro Manila.

Based on the report, Nieva is a graduating student of Colegio de San Juan de Letrán and he still has a balance of Php 30,000.

Determined to march with his classmates, Nieva asked for the help of other Twitter users to buy some homemade dishes to raise money and pay for his balance on his tuition.

He wrote on Twitter: “Bili na kayo guys, pandagdag lang sa tuition ko. It’s really big help for me. Maraming salamat po. ”

The graduating student also included photos of the delicious looking dishes with text written on it.

“Selling: Pinangat na Laing and Bicol Express for 150 pesos.

“Lahat ng bibili is also a big help for me para makabayad ako ng tuition and makapagmarcha ako sa PICC,” as seen on the photos.

Many netizens have noticed his post that instantly went viral. Nieva’s post was retweeted 5.1K times and 7.8K favorites as of posting.

Meanwhile, Nieva shared in his latest tweet the good news that he is now #PICCReady, which means he is graduating and marching along with his classmates.

“Lahat po ng orders na ide-deliver by Monday ‘di ko po madeliver kasi po graduation practice ko po. Maraming, maraming salamat po sa mga tumulong at sumuporta na abutin ang aking mga pangarap. Thank you Lord. #PICCReady,” he wrote.

Congratulations, Hans Steve Nieva!
