There’s no doubt that Mobile Legends is one of the famous online games here in the Philippines today. Many people are getting addicted to this game, especially men, to the point that they sometimes spend more time playing “ML” rather than their wives or girlfriends.
But since we often heard a lot of not-so-good stories of couples who ended breaking up because of this game, let’s not also forget that there are also love stories that started and blossomed because of playing this game.
Just like this gamer couple who is about to get married soon, Lou Dela Serna and Renz Reyes.
Recently on Facebook, Dela Serna shared a lengthy post on how she met her soon to be husband all because of this popular online game Mobile Legends.
“Nag-ML. Nagka-love life. Ikakasal. I said ‘yes’!” part of the Facebook post read.
Dela Serna said in the post that despite the possibility of failing in their relationship that started with Mobile Legends, they still chose to continue and fight for their love.
“Sa dami ng narinig at na-witness kong failed relationship na naganap sa ML. Ito yung masasabi kong naging proof na hindi lahat ganon. Sino ba naman mageexpect na sa kaka-ML ko ay do’n ko din makikilala ‘yong forever ko?” she said.
“Hindi maganda ang simula ng relasyon namin pero…nagtake kami ng risk para rito at ngayon, masasabi ko talaga na worth it lahat ng sinuko namin para magkasama. It made me realize that what I have right now is much better than what I have before,” Dela Serna continued.
But after all the trials their relationship had been through, she still believed that he was the one for her.
“I’ve been waiting patiently. Now, He gave me you. I love you so much!” she said.
Reyes, on the other hand, shared a post on his Facebook account on how grateful he is for being able to find his one true love, because of his passion in playing the said online game.
“Sabi nila, wala raw ako mapapala sa paglalaro ko–pero pinalad ako,” he said.
