Celebrity couple Aga Muhlach and Charlene Gonzalez recently celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary and to mark their special day, both posted sweet messages for each other on their Instagram accounts.
Charlene posted a photo of their actual wedding photo 18 years ago, and Muhlach and thanked the actor for the many years of love and happiness.
She wrote in the caption,
“18 years ago today. The love of my life. Thank you for the 18 years of love and happiness. I love you, B. Happy Anniversary.”
Aga also shared his wedding anniversary message for his lovely wife, along with a more recent photo of the celebrity couple.
He wrote: “18 years today. Happy Anniversary, my love! Went by so fast! Thank you for you!”
The two were married on May 28, 2001, in Baguio City and they were blessed with two kids, twins Atasha and Andres.
Back in 2009, Aga and Charlene talked about how they managed to keep their marriage stronger throughout the years.
In an interview with PEP, the celebrity couple said that constant communication is one of the most important factors for a lasting relationship.
“Believe it or not, the moment that we wake up at 5:30 in the morning, aside from eating, we talk a lot,” The former beauty queen said.
Aga agreed, “Like she said, we never run out of things to talk about.”
He also added that he is so thankful and really blessed to have so much time to spend with his family because he is not always busy with work.
When the couple was asked what advice they could give to other couples who want to make their marriage last.
The former matinee idol replied that there is really no secret in keeping their relationship intact.
“Just keep on reminding yourself that you’re gonna save it,” Aga said.
