Just recently, the heartwarming video of a father who welcomes her OFW daughter by hugging and carrying her like a baby touched the hearts of many netizens.
The video was posted on Facebook by a certain Jeaprilyn De Padua II, who recently went home for a vacation from her job at Lingsen Precision Ind. Ltd. in Taichung, Taiwan. She is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Industrial Education (BSIE) from Batangas State University, Balayan Campus in Batangas.
Working outside the country, Jeaprilyn has to spend at least a year or more away from her family in the Philippines. That is why the reaction of her father upon seeing her returning home is certainly priceless.
As seen in the video, Jeaprilyn arrived at their home riding a tricycle and her father warmly greeted her with a hug, he then carried his daughter as if she was still a baby and went inside the house. The emotions accelerated as they hugged each other for a while.
Jeaprilyn’s mother also stepped forward and also hugged her daughter who just returns home. Her younger sister is also present in the scene and tightly hugged her big sister.
Many netizens admitted that they cried while watching the video, and missed their own father and wished that they could also experience the same.
While some even joked that they still need to lose some weight so that their father can carry them inside the house just like the girl in the video.
The video quickly went viral, receiving over 1,153,043 views, 14,000 shares, and 10,000 shares on Facebook as of this writing.
