A mother always put her child’s life and needs first, before everything else. She always thinks of the best things that she can do and provide for her children.
Just like what this Pinay mom did to secure the basic needs of her daughter, while at the same time celebrated her 2nd birthday happily.
On Facebook, a netizen named Mae Mhella recently shared her experience of asking for milk and diapers instead of the usual toys as gifts for her daughter’s birthday.

She wrote a statement to defend herself from some ‘nakakahiya’ comments and she explained the reason why she would rather receive milk and diapers as birthday gifts.
Her daughter Nathalie Briella turned 2 years old last week, and they throw a simple celebration for their family and friends.
But before the birthday party, the practical mom shared an invitation for their guest, where she included a special request of what specific gifts she wished to receive for her daughter’s birthday.

“PS. Huwag na pong laruan,” part of her Facebook post read.
Mae’s family and friends granted her request. The practical mom was overwhelmed and had to share her appreciation with them.
She said that she knows that there are still people who will take her action in a very negative way and was even called out for being “nakakahiya” or “pratikalan talaga” but she doesn’t care about other people’s negative comments.
Mae continued, “Pero deadma!
She also admitted that having a birthday party is costly. She said,
But because of their gifts, she isn’t worried that her daughter might run out of diapers and milk.
‘Di ako kakabahan kasi may stock naman anak ko,” she said.
The practical mom also advised fellow mothers not to be scared of asking for something that they believe will be useful for their kids’ necessities rather than toys.
As of this writing, her post has already reached over 32,000 shares and 33,000 reactions on Facebook.
