Two weeks before Father’s Day, this lady bus passenger has shared a story that will surely remind us of a father’s unconditional love.
The heartwarming story was shared on Facebook by Marivic Ando Natividad, who witnessed the touching scene where a bus driver father and his special child were both on a trip.
Marivic also included photos in her post showing the young boy happily sitting beside his father in the driver’s seat.
Based on her post, Marivic was riding a bus on her way to her work and sits beside a jolly special child. He smiled at her all the time and seems to who knows all the bus stops and the road as he shouted whenever a passenger would be getting off the bus. She also noticed that the bus driver looked happy with what the child was doing.
At first, the lady passenger didn’t realize that the two were father and son until the child sat beside the bus driver and said, “Papa, papa.”
Marivic also heard the bus driver asking his son why he left his seat as they might get caught by some MMDA enforcers. But eventually, he just decided to close the window curtain to cover his son, since he knew that he had no plan of returning to his original seat.
Although the young boy was so talkative, his father still managed to listen to every single word that he said. The lady passenger also added that the two even sang a song together.
In the last part of his post, Marivic went on to thank all the fathers out there for all the sacrifices they selflessly made for their families, for standing strong and providing for their family, and simply for being the best version of father that they can, just like the loving bus driver.
“Thank you for being superman for your family, for being a good provider, and for trying your best to be the BEST FATHER IN THE WORLD. We appreciate that truly.”
She also tagged her own father to express how grateful she is to have a father like him.
