Three months after the Pinoy Big Brother winner, Slater Young, and blogger Kryz Uy tied the knot in a gorgeous beachside wedding in Cebu.
The newly married couple finally moved into their mansion, which they called “Skypod.”
Slater Young recently shared on Instagram that although their home it still is not 100 percent complete, he was happy with the results as he calls it their “forever home.”
He wrote:
“Welcome to the #Skypod. Our forever home.
“Getting my much deserved rest. This project has been one of the most stressful things I have ever done. Not only because we were trying to do something different and architecturally challenging, but also because we planned on finishing it as fast as possible. (We planned on completing it in 7 months, but we moved in in 9 months. Still not 100% complete but happy to call this place home.”
While their initial plan was to finish the construction in seven months, the house got almost completed after nine months because it was “architecturally challenging.”
On the other hand, his wife Kryz Uy said the “whole week was about cleaning up, moving in, and getting settled.”
The famous blogger also thanked their respective families for “helping us in all the ways they can (buying us house plants, giving us pre-marinated meals, washing our clothes, helping us figure out the dishwasher etc!).”
Meanwhile, Kryz referred to their kitchen as her “new spot,” where she has been “slowly learning the ropes.”
She even said in jest in one of her IG posts that their expenses in building their home will have an impact on the blogger’s “shopping expenses.”
According to Kryz, “After listing down our #Skypod expenses, I’m currently contemplating my life choices lol. Bye bye shopping for now. it was nice knowing you!”
As seen in Slater’s post, the couple had their house blessing held last May 13.
