According to GMA News, Ricson and Catherine Saad’s wedding reception was held at a local eatery or Carinderia called Goyong’s Mami Hauz.
The couple shared during an interview that they do not really want their marriage to be extravagant, including the wedding reception so they prefer to be more practical.
Ricson and Catherine also explained that they have chosen the said Carinderia because it belongs to Catherine’s parents. Not only they get to save money and helped their parents’ business, but they can also make sure that the foods are delicious.
Meanwhile, it can be seen through the faces of the guests that they are enjoying their homemade cooked meal and their unique experience of celebrating a wedding in a local eatery.
Catherine Saad also took to Facebook to thank all those who had helped her in making their wedding successful. She was very happy because even though their reception was just held in a simple venue, they still managed to decorate it finely to suit their wedding!
Many netizens praised the couple for being so practical, while some also wanted to try this unique idea for their own wedding reception.
At the end of the day, all the celebrations or even the venue of the wedding is not the most important part of marriage. What matters is their love and loyalty to one another.
