We often think that starting out with nothing and ending up having everything rarely happens in real life as this some sort of a pipe dream only happens in the movies.
But the story of this couple who came from poverty-stricken beginnings proved that anyone can be successful as long as you put your heart and mind to it.
George Bedia-Anas and Charmilyn Bandila-Anas shared an inspiring story on social media on how they worked hard to turn themselves into rich and successful today.
According to their post, they both struggled in the past just to make their ends meet. In fact, they also reveal that they only have corned beef and pancit canton as their meal. But now, they’re living the life that most people could only dream of.
The couple recently shared a post in their Facebook page George & Chin Inspirations, which is currently making rounds online.
“Chin and I share a common struggle 5 years back. She used to depend on a corned beef value pack worth Php7.00 as an employee earning minimum wage while I depended on pancit canton as unemployed to survive the week.
“I sold siomai, pizza roll, hotdog bun, etc. for a living while finding a decent job. People were laughing but we didn’t really care. We started as a team and we made it through life’s battles as a team. Some think we’re lucky to be living the life we have now but the truth is, before we were able to enjoy the finer things that we have today, we’ve had to go through the worst,” says the post.
They worked their way, despite these shortcomings and established their own company called Suretrust Group in 2015.
In an article by DailyPedia, Suretrust Group is a company that deals with new car loan processing, real estate, travels and tours, and visa consultancy. It’s the only company in the Philippines to develop a first in its class 4-in-1 selling opportunity for its partners. The company also has eight branches across Visayas and Mindanao.
The couple’s success story gained admiration and praises from the netizens who lauded their efforts to become successful.
