Recently, the wedding ceremony of actor Gardo Versoza with his long-time non-showbiz partner Ivy Vicencio was hailed by many netizens for its simplicity.
The couple tied the knot in an outdoor ceremony in El Kabayo Horseback Riding Stables in Clark, Pampanga.
Gardo and Ivy’s simple wedding were attended by their close friends and the Cupcake Bikers club members.
On Instagram, the 49-year-old actor shared photos of their solemn and intimate union last May 20.
“Kung ang ang pinagsama at binasbasan ay hindi pwedeng paghiwalayan ng ganun-ganun na lamang,” Gardo captioned his post.
It can be seen in the photos that couple is just wearing simple and casual sports attire, while the bride, Ivy, holds a bouquet of flowers.
Netizens were quick to congratulate them and lauded the actor for choosing to have a simple but intimate wedding instead of an extravagant one.

Gardo Versoza was born as Mennen Torres Polintan on November 8, 1969. He is a popular Filipino actor who starred in several films including Machete, Sundalong Kanin, The Prenup and many more. During his heyday, the actor was also tagged as “Asia’s Sexiest Man.
Currently, Gardo has been busy with guest appearances in various shows in both ABS-CBN and GMA – 7. In fact, the 49-year-old actor just became part of Coco Martin’s hit primetime action-drama TV series FPj’s Ang Probinsyano.
He recently made his debut in the longest-running TV show as the mysterious Lazaro, who appeared to be an ally of the fugitive Hipolito (John Arcilla.)
