Baron Geisler shared that he is now ready to settle down and plans to marry soon.
In an exclusive interview with Push, Baron recently revealed his engagement to his non-showbiz, psychologist girlfriend.
For almost a year, the 36-year-old actor was managing his business in Cebu City, where he met his girlfriend, Jamie Marie Evangelista.
Their relationship became official last September 2018, and the two have been together for eight months now.
Meanwhile, Baron also revealed that 3 months ago, he already proposed to Jamie Marie.
“Tapos na kami sa engagement part. Three months ago pa ‘yon,” he said.
According to the actor, he finally decided to settle down because he was tired of playing games and partying around.
“Pagod na ako sa laro, sa pag-party. Gusto ko na ring magkaroon ng sariling pamilya,” wika niya.
He also added that his fiancee works as a psychologist, who is good at helping other people who wanted to start a new life.
“Psychologist si Jamie. She works sa rehab, freelance psych0 therapist siya. She teaches college students also. Kinukuha siya ng mga rehab center para tumulong sa mga addict at alcoholic,” he shared.
One of the things that he liked about his soon-to-be wife was her never-ending patience towards him.
“She’s very patient sa akin. Alam niya kung paano ako timplahin. Super happy ako kasi maalaga siya,” Baron explained.
He also said that his girlfriend never left his side and she even supported him during those times when he had nothing.
“When I had nothing, wala pa ‘yung barber shop ko, nung walang-wala ako she supported me. Kasi ang buong pag-aakala ko wala na akong babalikan sa showbiz, kaya nagtayo na lang ako ng business,” he added.
The actor currently runs Gents Barber, located at 2nd level, Gaisano Country Mall, Cebu.
“Ginamit kong puhunan ‘yung konti kong namana at ibinenta ko ‘yung Fortuner ko para makapagsimula. Kakabukas lang nung barber shop ko and so far it’s doing good naman,” Baron said.
Baron Geisler recently returned to showbiz as part of the cast of ABS-CBN’s hit TV series ‘FPJ Ang Probinsyano.’
