Kapamilya teen actress and former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Heaven Peralejo and Jimuel Pacquiao first admitted their relationship in an interview with ABS-CBN on March 26.
The young couple shared that they first met two years ago in a mall where Jimuel asked for a photo opportunity with Heaven.
Recently, the 19-year-old actress talked about her relationship with the eldest son of the boxer-politician Manny Pacquiao in her TV guesting on the morning show, ‘Magandang Buhay.’
When she was asked if her mother was in favor of their relationship, the former PBB housemate answered that Jimuel worked hard to also court her two families.
“Pinaghirapan ni Jim, kasi first time po. I mean, ewan ko, talagang niligawan niya ‘yong both families ko, umakyat po talaga siya ng ligaw do’n sa both parents ko,” Heaven said..
For those who are not aware, the young actress is the nephew of former actresses Rica and Paula Peralejo. It’s also not a secret to the public that her parents got separated early because of a long distance relationship.
“Isipin n’yo ‘yon dalawang pamilya po ‘yon, so talagang pinaghirapan niya ‘yon. Nagbigay siya ng time dito sa mom side, nagbigay siya ng time dito sa dad side,” she explained.
Heaven added that seeing how her boyfriend deals with her parents clearly show his good personality and clean intention.
The Kapamilya actress also shared in the show on how their love story started.
According to her, she first met Jimuel after her stint on Pinoy Big Brother.
“So 2017, kakalabas ko lang po ng PBB noon. And then, minsan lang po kami mag-shopping, kuripot po kasi ako, so parang biglaan lang, ‘Mom, shop tayo, wala na talaga akong damit.’ So kaming dalawa ni Mommy, kuwentuhan. Ta’s may group of guys, nakatingin sila,” she said.
The young actress admitted that during those times when she just exits the PBB house, she’s still not used to people who were staring at her. “Parang nakakatakot,” she added, then they went inside a store.
Eventually, this group of men asked Heaven if they can have a photo with her.
“Paglabas namin, nando’n pa rin sila, nakatingin,” pagpapatuloy niya. “Lumapit na po sila saka nagpa-picture na. Tapos nag-message po sila (sa Instagram), noon ko na-realize na, ‘Ah, Pacquiao Family pala.”
“After a year, same month, same place, nakita ko po sila. This time, kasama na pati mom niya, siblings niya. Tapos nagpa-picture po ulit sila,” Heaven shared.
She also revealed during the interview that a day before their second meeting, she really prayed to God to give her a good and God-fearing man. “Tapos ‘yon, dumating na po si Jim,” she said.
