Father Apologize To His Son For Having No Celebration On His Graduation

Most students consider graduating from college as a major highlight of their life as a student, and the beginning of their ‘real’ lives as a young adult.

When it’s about celebrating an important milestone like graduation, many families prefer to have a special lunch or dinner in a restaurant after graduation.

There are also some who organize an out of town trip or a vacation with their family and friends, while others opt to have a simple celebration at their home.

However, there are also families who are not capable of throwing even a simple celebration for their graduates. Just like the heartwarming story of this family from Butuan City.

Recently on Facebook, many netizens were touched on a post about a loving father who apologized to his son for having no celebration on his graduation day.

The story was shared by “Sulit De-senyo” Facebook page on April 3.

“Tatay: Anak, pasensya na wala tayong handa ngayong araw ng iyong pagtatapos.

Anak: Ayus lang po tay, mahalaga nakapagtapos ako sa kolehiyo at matutulungan na kita, hindi na kita hahayaan pang maghirap at susuklian ko lahat ng sakripisyo mo sakin..

The young man identified as Jay-ar Cañete Pangan worked as a service crew in a famous fast food restaurant at Gaisano Mall in Butuan.

But despite their difficult situation, Jay-ar had worked really hard to help his father and support his studies through his part-time job.

His loving father, on the other hand, is always there to support his son and provide him the best life he can.

Many netizens were inspired by their story and expressed their reactions on the post:

“Congrats… tunay na hindi hadlang ang kahirapan sa pag-asenso upang makamit ang pangarap! Wish you find a real good job soon.”

“You’re such an inspiration, hijo. May God bless you, go on with your journey. Sana lahat bata kagaya mong mag-isip. Iniisip ang magulang.

“You are also a good father someday. Congrats to you and to your father for having a good son like you. You are a good example to others.”
