In a span of 10 years, a lot of things has happened to the former actress-model-TV host Cindy Kurleto sicnce she left the showbiz industry.
But with her recent come back in the country, she reportedly revealed that her desire to become a mother pushed her to leave the country.

In a recent one-on-one interview with GMA News, Cindy finally confirmed what caused her absence from showbiz, according to her, she had a polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), a condition that affects the hormone level of a woman and makes it harder for them to conceive.

While every woman’s dream is to become a mother, for Cindy’s case, it wasn’t easy in the beginning. In fact, she was even told by many doctors that she will not have a baby because of this health condition.
“At the end of my ten years in show business, I had a hormonal imbalance which led me to have PCOS and five doctors told me that I will never have children,” she said.

However, as opposed to what the five doctors said, the 39-year-old mother still managed to have two lovely daughters.
She also added that the stressful environment in showbiz is one of the factors that affects her condition so she decided to have a rest on her work.
“I wasn’t fertile because of the stressful environment that I was in,” she added.
According to her, she changed her lifestyle to better meet the needs of her body so she could have a child with husband, Daniel.
“I changed my lifestyle around and I try to live healthier.”
This incident has changed her vision in life as she now values her health more than anything else, especially now that she needs to take care of her children.
Today, Cindy is happily living in Vienna, together with her husband and their two children, namely, 9-year-old Noa, and 2-year-old Lima.

Cindy Kurleto left the country in December 2007 to join her husband in Peru, but eventually, he settled in Vienna to care for his father who was suffering from cancer and Parkinson’s disease.
