Just like the story of a Facebook user named Marian Santiago, whose marriage has been broken because of a cheating husband.
In a now viral Facebook post, Marian wrote a lengthy caption narrating how she was betrayed by her husband who was working abroad.
According to her, she posted her story not to put her husband and his lover to shame, but to ease that heavy burden in her chest.
The legal wife also shared their love story, which started when she was still a college student. She fell head over heels in love with him stating that he was the man of her dreams, with his looks, his built, and more importantly, the effort to make her feel important.
He is working abroad, that’s why they tried to make things work, despite the fact that they are in a long distance relationship. They both gave their best efforts to stay strong. In fact, whenever he comes home to the country, they would always be together, traveling to different places.
Early in 2016, they found out she was pregnant with their child, which is the best blessing ever. But he needs to come back to the US to work, he promised that he’ll come back to marry her, which he did.
Marian and her husband got married in April 2016. The greatest event of their life was witnessed by their friends. At first, their relationship is so strong that it looks perfect and may seem too good to be true, which Marian thought that it’s just normal for a couple who love each other so much.
Two years have passed, but everything seemed like the usual happy years. He was as sweet as ever, he always sends sweet messages and thanking her for taking care of their daughter. But unknown to Marian, her husband is already having an extramarital affair with a co-worker.
It was revealed when a concerned friend sent her pictures showing her husband with his lover. Marian confronted her husband and he admitted and reasoned that they were too “far” from each other.
Marian feels like her whole world is falling apart, but she then decided to let go of her husband and just focus on her daughter.
In the last part of her post, the legal wife has some good words for the lover. She wishes that they would not experience the trauma she felt because of what they did. She also said that the two can continue the relationship if that’s what makes them happy.
