Actress, comedienne and loving mom Rufa Mae Quinto is happy to share her daughter Athena Alexandria 2nd birthday celebration last February 18.
Looking at the video she uploaded, the mom and daughter had a blast in their ‘Fairytale Land’ theme celebration attended by her friends, relatives, and some showbiz personalities. The event took place in a popular fast food chain.
She also expressed in an Instagram post how happy she is in her life today as a housewife and a mom. According to her, she dreamed of having her own family, a husband she would regard as a king, and a child she would regard as a princess. She was very thankful to God for granting her wish.
The 40-year-old actress wrote:
“Once upon a time, I dreamed of having a family, my own king, my own princess, my little one… Salamat for giving it to me, God.”
The comedy actress looked divine in her long, light pink floral dress, while her adorable daughter, Alexandria wore a gold-and-white tutu, and a gold crown.
In 1996, Rufa Mae started her showbiz career after landing a spot in That’s Entertainment show. She became popular for playing the character ‘Booba’ and ‘Boobita Rose’ in her films and featured the expressions “Yezzz!” and “Todo na to!”
Some of her well known films include “Four Must-Four”, “Baliktaran”, “Inside”, “Desperadas”, “Manay Po 2”, “I.T.A.L.Y.”, and “Desperadas 2”. Ruffa Mae was also included in the mainstay cast of the sitcom “Arriba! Arriba! ” on ABS-CBN Network with Jolina Magdangal and Camille Prats in 2000 before moving to GMA Network.
She has been a mainstay cast in the longest-running gag show “Bubble Gang” and sitcom “Idol Ko Si Kap” with Bong Revilla, Jr. She also starred in “Marinara”, which is a tele-fantasy “spoof” version of Claudine Barreto’s so-called fantasy “Marina.”
Over the past years, she also received 10 “Best Comedy Actress” awards at the PMPC Star Awards for TV.
The comedy actress married her Filipino-American husband, Trevor Magallanes, a financial analyst based in the United States on November 25, 2016.
After giving birth to her daughter, Rufa Mae returned to the sitcom “Home Sweetie Home” with Toni Gonzaga, Ogie Alcasid, Piolo Pascual, and many others.
