Every day, there are hundreds of Filipinos who flock to the office of the program Raffy Tulfo in Action to ask help. These people come from all walks of life and some even came from the far-flung provinces of the country.
In the most recent video shared by Raffy Tulfo in Action on Facebook, the kind-hearted host helped a mother and her 7-month-old child who is staying outside the office of his program “Aksyon Sa Tanghali”.
Having a soft spot for mothers and small children, the kind-hearted host personally visited the mother and her child, to see in what way he can help them.
Raffy together with his wife was on their way home from an engagement when he was informed that a mother and her 7-month-old baby, who came all the way from Cebu will be spending their whole night in the street outside his office. But despite his busy schedule, he still finds time to help these people who badly needed his help.
As seen in the video, the mother is currently feeding her baby when Raffy Tulfo arrived. He said that it’s a common sight for him to see many people sleeping on the pavements outside the office so that they would be early for the next day’s program, but he thinks it would be quite hard and dangerous for a mother, especially for the 7-month old baby to stay outside for the night because the baby might get sick.
Raffy then talked to the poor mother and learned that they came straight from Lapu-Lapu City in Cebu. She also said that she borrowed their fare from one of her good customers in a salon, where she works as a manicurist.
The poor mother also shared the reason why she has decided to go to Manila and ask the help of Raffy Tulfo.
Based on her story, she wants to get her 4-year-old son from her mother, who took the child from her and is not keen on returning the child. She also added that she already asked the help of DSWD in Cebu, but they were not able to help her.
After hearing her story, Raffy said that he is willing to help her with her problem, but since it is getting late, he decided to let them stay in a hotel so they can rest properly.
Meanwhile, Raffy also thanked the 7-11 store for being kind enough to let the mother stay inside their store so that the child wouldn’t be exposed to the chilly night wind.
The poor mother was greatly touched by the concern that Raffy Tulfo shows them. The fact that he could’ve just ordered one of his staff to help them has proven his genuine intention to help.
