Wedding Ceremony Gets Interrupted by a Delivery Guy Asking the Bride to Sign Package

Your wedding is one of the most important occasions in your life and you want fewer interruptions as much as possible on that very special day.

However, an incident that was completely not seen coming happened during a wedding in Malaysia. A delivery guy who works for Pos Laju, the country’s leading courier company that prides itself with its excellent track record on Next Day deliveries, stepped in the ceremony just to get the bride to sign the parcel delivery of an item that she ordered from an online store.

In his defense, the postman explained that he didn’t mean to be discourteous. He just didn’t want to delay the parcel’s delivery because waiting for the wedding to get done meant compromising the rest of his deliveries that day. Luckily for him, the bride and groom found the situation funny rather than annoying. They even posed for a photo with the postman!

The bride, Peny, was so amused about the whole scenario that she even shared their photos on Twitter where netizens echoed her sentiments. The viral post then garnered over 22,700 retweets and 14,000 likes on the social media site. The caption reads:

“Hmm, I can now predict what my future will be like if even on our wedding day, a postman shows up to deliver your parcel.”

The post was flooded with hilarious comments from netizens who couldn’t quite get over the fact that the delivery guy put a brave face on to barge in the wedding just to get the bride to sign the package. A netizen even joked, “When you want to get married but Lazada has a sale.”

Meanwhile, a few pointed out that the postman looked a tad bit lost about whether what he was doing was right or wrong. Regardless, he needed to get his job done. “That postman’s face was hilarious. He probably thought to himself, ‘Am I doing the right thing? Please sign quickly!'” another one said. Some also thought that the postman should have been invited to the reception.

What a hilarious way to embark on your marriage!
