Love is unpredictable, confusing, exciting, and sometimes scary. In fact, we’ve already heard several stories of people who fall for someone totally unexpected but were lucky enough to have ended up happily together. Just Like the viral Facebook post about this Pinay domestic helper who met the love of her life through a role-playing game or RPG.
Their incredibly unique story went viral on social media as they prove that love can be found anywhere in the world, even if you are thousands of miles apart.
The woman was identified as Samra Macalimpas Mohamad, who is a Filipino-Muslim and her boyfriend, Triston Wallin, who is a good-looking American man. Recently, the couple got married here in the Philippines.
Last December 30, a Facebook user named Daisa Guinaid Siano shared a video and some photos of the couple at an airport.
She wrote this caption in her post:
As seen in the video, the foreign guy, Triston is hugging his wife, Samra, to say goodbye to her in the meantime. It appears that after their wedding, the foreign guy had to go back to his country.
The couple’s story was also featured in GMA-7’s “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho” this Sunday. They even included a promotional post for the episode with a statement from Samra in their official Facebook account, where she said:
Sweet at gentleman siya kapag china-chat niya ako.
Their unique loves story blossoms in the most unexpected situation. Today, Samra and Triston love story is a living testimony that love is surely beyond physical presence. What’s more important for them is their emotional investment and the relationship they were able to build together and not where and how they met.
