A wedding is one of the most awaited occasions in one’s life. It is a significant celebration of love between two individuals who come to unite as one in front of their loved ones and above anyone else, the Almighty. While most couples like to keep their weddings lavish and grand, others like theirs intimate and low-key.
Just recently, a couple’s wedding made rounds on social media for the mere fact that it was so simple and practical.
Rather than going the usual route of breaking the bank in order to hold an extravagant wedding, the two remained true to themselves and worked things out within their budget.
After having two children and living together for more than a decade now, the newlyweds Gilbert and Fely Joy Ynclino officially tied the knot despite not having enough money for a grand celebration.
What they did was borrow both of their wedding outfits while parents of their flower girls provided dresses for each of their daughters. Even the foods for the guests were just cooked at the couple’s yard!
Since the couple had a really tight budget and could not afford to hire a photographer, the groom’s brother who works as an assistant to photographer Michael See Apeles offered to shoulder the photographer’s fee.
Thousands of netizens were impressed with how beautiful the photos turned out amidst humble backgrounds. The photos which were uploaded on Facebook by Apeles himself looked grand in their own ways. This reminded everyone how there’s always beauty in simplicity.
The viral post reads:
“Maya’t maya may makikita tayong pinopost na bonggang kasal na maraming palamuti, makukulay na bulaklak, magagarang suot, magandang tanawin, atbp. Ika nga, yung tipong halatang pinagkagastusan nang todo. Para sa photographer ng ganung klaseng mga kasalan, tila madaling itutok ang camera sa mga bagay-bagay kasi parang lahat na lang maganda sa kuha.Pero mas naniniwala ako na nasa photographer na rin kung paano magiging maganda yung kuha kahit saan man ang kasal. Kahit hindi man sa hotel ganapin yung preparation, makakahanap pa rin ng ganda sa kahit anumang sulok man yan. Basta’t lagyan ng kaunting diskarte, hanapin ang magandang anggulo, hintayin ang tamang sandali, at siguraduhin ang maayos na timpla. Ganun ang naging challenge sa akin sa naging kasal na kinunan ko sa Tumana. Sa bahay nina Reymark Ynclino naghanda yung mga tao para sa kasal. Kaya doon na lang din ako napadpad para kumuha ng mga nakasanayan nang mga litrato sa isang kasal, tulad ng singsing, sapatos, relo, atbp.
Sana nga lang ay pasado ang mga litrato ko para kay Reymark at sa pamilya niya. At sana naipakita ko rin ang kagandahan ng inyong tahanan sa Tumana.”
