Love Marie Payawal Ongpauco-Escudero or professionally known as Heart Evangelista-Escudero.
She is a Filipino actress, model, TV host, a former VJ and widely known for being a fashionista.
The 33-year-old actress has been married to Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero since February 15, 2015.
When it comes to her outfit, Heart Evangelista-Escudero has a thing for white and she had a significant amount of clothes in this classic shade. The actress loves dressing up in white outfits, in fact, she even started using a hashtag for her white OOTDs: #LoveMariexWhites.
That’s why her love for the classic, timeless, and versatile color served as a take-off point and a fitting canvas for her home, which is expected to be as stylish as her.
According to color psychology, the color white is associated with purity, innocence, goodness, heaven, safety, brilliance, understanding, faith, spirituality, possibility, sincerity, and many more.
During an exclusive interview with Metro Society magazine, Heart revealed that it had always been her vision to have “an all-white house with blue and white prints that would serve as a gallery space for her artwork.”
According to her, “Because my paintings are colorful, I wanted that to be the focal point of my house.”
The said magazine got all the details straight from the amazing design team, Rossy Anne Rojales, Creative Director, and Bong Rojales, Marketing Director, of Hurray Interior Design Group (the new mother brand of Heima and Heim Interiors). They are the one responsible for making Heart’s dream home come to life.
Heart’s beautiful home was located along a street lined with huge balete and acacia trees in a highly-coveted neighborhood in Quezon City.
“You can pretty much stay in any spot and not mind that there’s no aircon. We wanted a place where it’s not always necessary to have aircon. We wanted fresh air. And so, the house was built in a way that we had wind tunnels,” Heart says.
“We made it in a way that it’s open wide to make it look more spacious,” she added.
The first and second floor are both dominated by white colors but are given more style and character by home accents in various prints, patterns, and textures. You can find the living and dining areas on the first floor, while the family room and the bedrooms can be seen on the second floor of the house.\
To reflect Heart’s feminine and artsy personality the designer team used dainty wallpaper for the third floor. The attic located here is the actress favorite spot, she considers this place as her sanctuary where she placed her boudoir, walk-in-closet, and her work area.
Another highlight in the design of this beautiful home is the incorporation of glass doors that visually separate the indoor from the outdoors and windows that allow better circulation of air
