Richard Gomez or fondly known by many as “Goma” is not only one of the famous actors in Philippine cinema and television. He’s also an athlete, director, and politician.
Currently, he is the mayor of Ormoc City. In 1998, Gomez married Lucy Torres, the current representative of the 4th District of Leyte, with whom he has an 18-year-old daughter named Juliana.
Unbeknownst to many, Gomez is an athlete who excels in sports like basketball and fencing where he won a gold medal at the 2005 Southeast Asian Games. Just recently, he made rounds on social media because of his new video where the actor was shown with the kind of life he has in the province with his animals.
Through a combination of English and Bisaya words, Richard shared that he is fond of looking after his animals – feeding his chickens, turkeys, and goose. He also pointed out how his animals are happy due to the tender loving care they are getting from him and his assistant.
The caption on his Instagram post reads: “While at home today. Lipay akong mga bisayang manok. Pabo ug gangsa. Akong kinabuhi sa probinsya,” he added with a hashtag.
Moreover, the actor revealed that his wife requested to add more animals in their backyard including the dogs that will serve as their daughter’s guards.
