After the reunion of tricycle driver from Polomoloc, South Cotabato, Charlie Lozada, his five children, and his estranged wife Sherlyn Gerasta in the studio of Raffy Tulfo in Action, they all met again at Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA).
As a recollection, Sherlyn had an extramarital affair with an engineer while working as an OFW in Saudi Arabia. When asked to pick between her lover and husband, she firmly chose the former. Despite her children’s pleas, she stood her ground and did not want anything to do with Charlie anymore.
Even with the veteran TV anchor begging in behalf of the very upset children, Sherlyn did not want to think her decision through and insisted that she did not want to get back together with her husband.
“Mga kapatid, parang ang iniiyakan ng mga bata ay isang istatwa, na walang damdamin, walang pagbibigay kunsiderasyon doon sa pakiusap ng mga inosenteng paslit, na sila ang nasasaktan ngayon, at masasaktan pa sa mga darating na araw,” Raffy said.
At OWWA, officials and personnel from Municipal Social Welfare Development (MSWD) met with the family and tried to talk things through. However, in the middle of their conversation, Sherlyn burst out in tears and was then hugged by her children and husband, hoping to comfort her.
But much to everyone’s surprise, she became hysterical and started screaming right inside the office. The footage has gained a lot of mixed reactions from the netizens, mostly consisting of bashing against the former OFW.
They were too quick to point out how she had the guts to be extremely mad when in the first place, she was the one who did her family wrong. Meanwhile, some came to her defense, saying that she had her own reasons why she did not want to reconcile with her husband any longer so it’s best to lay off the judgments.
