It’s not new in the showbiz industry how most relationships can barely stand the test of time. This means that staying married for a decade or two is already considered a milestone among celebrity couples. One of those marriages is actors and lovers Gladys Reyes and Christopher Roxas’s.
Starting as childhood sweethearts and co-stars in the long-running ABS-CBN teleserye “Mara Clara” which ran from August 1992 to February 1997, Christopher and Gladys proved that love is still alive and even going stronger for the two of them.
The couple got married on January 23, 2004, and tied the knot for a second time in front of family and friends, including their co-star Judy Ann Santos in the classic soap opera a year ago at Fernwood Gardens in Tagaytay City. They now have four children.
After more than two decades of being together, Gladys and Christopher celebrated their 26th anniversary last January 23 and reminisced about the past years in their respective Instagram posts.
“To summarize our 26 years of togetherness with these pictures to sum up our journey that is truly worthwhile. January 23 marks our 11th year of BF/GF relationship and 15th year of saying “I do’s”. God knows how grateful I am for waking up each day beside my ‘answered prayer’ with our beautiful children. Thank you, bebe @christopherroxas, every day it gets better and better,” wrote Gladys in her post.
On the other hand, Christopher kept his post short and sweet by sharing a throwback photo of themselves when they were still teenagers.
“Happy anniversary bebe,” he wrote.
Judging from their past and present photos, we can say that the couple is an epitome of “forever”. We wish them all the best in life!
