Last December 30, the eight-division world boxing champion, Manny Pacquiao and members of his boxing team checked out ICON Aircraft’s launch product at the Santa Monica Airport in Los Angeles, California.
According to the report from GMA News, the Pinoy boxing champion enthusiastically checked out the amphibious A5 light sports plane, but they were more than happy to have Manny Pacquiao and his team check out the aircraft.
He was welcomed by the staff of ICON Aircraft, which is a world-renowned consumer sport plane manufacturer in the United State of America.
Meanwhile, based on ICON Aircraft’s official Facebook page, this A5 aircraft is a light sport plane and a state-of-the-art aircraft that has a “combination of folding wings, amphibious capability, and an optional custom trailer,” this aircraft has won awards for its world-class product design.
In addition to that, this A5 also has an Angle of [redacted] Gauge (AoA), an ICON Parachute System (IPS) that gives a safe landing whenever an unexpected situation happens, and a Spin-Resistant Airframe (SRA) which makes it the world’s first spin-resistant Light Sport Aircraft.
As seen in the photos, Manny Pacquiao appears to have an amazing time checking out this entire aircraft. Besides that, it also appears like he was given the chance to conduct a test flight with this ICON A5 aircraft.
The Pambansang Kamao has been training hard for his return at the Wild Card Boxing Club in Hollywood. He is currently in Los Angeles, California for his training camp in preparation for his upcoming fight.
For the past months, Manny has dedicated most of his time in preparation and training hard for his upcoming WBA (Regular) Welterweight World Championship fight with American boxer Adrien Broner, their much awaited boxing showdown will be held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas this coming January 19th.
