It’s not all new to netizens on social media finding beautiful faces amidst humble and poor environments. Just recently, another gorgeous young lady has yet again caught the hearts of many after her photos were shared on Facebook in which she was being compared with the famous young actress from the Kapamilya Network, Liza Soberano.
The post is making rounds on social media because netizens find it unusual these days to witness physically attractive people doing rather manual and tough jobs even though they can find much easier ways to earn a living, with their looks as an advantage.
The admins of the Facebook page, ‘Kami ang Batang Gapo’, looked for her in Gordon hts, Olongapo where she was reportedly first seen after her photos went viral on Facebook.
Subsequently, they identified the young girl as Marian, a Grade 4 student, who is turning 13 years old this month. Their family lives in the mountainous area at the far end of Gordon hts and they have to walk about 1 hour down the rough terrain to reach town.
Being the eldest among 6 children, Marian has had to quit school several times already in order to help her parents earn a living. At a tender age, she already knew what sacrifice is. She would wake up early in the morning so she could sell vegetables starting 6. Most, if not all, of her goods are sold out by 12 noon.
Countless of netizens are calling out the authorities to help Marian and her family so she could continue her studies and have a better chance in life instead of just selling vegetables for the rest of their lives. Moreover, they applauded the young girl for helping her parents earn money through honest ways rather than finding the easy way out through illegal deeds.
