This Husky Was so Malnourished After Owner Abandoned it On the Streets, But a Kind Hearted Man Took her Home, 10 Months Later She’s Unrecognizable

Undoubtedly, a stately husky dog is among the finest dogs out there. That’s why it’s disheartening how some people mistreat these beautiful dogs.

When 26-year-old animal lover, Rico Soegiarto, found an abandoned husky on his way home from work, it was so weak and sick from neglect that it could barely stand up.

The dog was wandering the streets on Denpasar in Bali with bald patches on his mangy coat revealing agonizing sores. She was close to [email protected]

“I do not know what was so special about her,” says Rico. “It’s about heart and feeling. I found her when I was on the way back home from work, she was in the middle of the street.”

Despite her condition, her bright blue eyes still shone and Rico knew that he had to give the neglected dog a second chance.

He decided to save her life by taking her in, named her Hope, and spent months looking after her.

Rico resolved to nurse the feeble pup back to health, washing and trimming her coat, feeding her, and taking her to the vet several times.

 

Ten months later, Hope the husky has a full, white coat and looks strong and healthy in before and after photos that Rico posted on social media.

“Do you still remember? Dog that i found 10 months ago. Swipe left to see the changes,”

Rico wrote. The night auditor at the Mercure Resort in Sanur received plenty of praise from dog lover around the world for his kind act.

Hope, too, appreciates him. She appeared happy and playful as she wagged her tail and stuck out her tongue with her new owner in a video shot at Rico’s house.

She is now part of a big and happy family with Rico, his girlfriend, and 4 other dogs that they saved from the streets.
