“I helped my mother to earn money since 4 years old and holding the heart of your country to competition with 85 lovely ladies around the universe is a tough battle. To be confidently beautiful and make my country proud is my goal to hopefully be crowned as Miss Universe. I can’t guarantee i’ll win but i’ll do my best. ?

Now that she is already successful and famous she was never ashamed of her past, instead, she happily shared about it with the world.

At the age of 4, Chalita had been already busy helping out her mother earning money and sells food on the streets, while other kids were having fun and playing with friends.

She even took over her mother’s job as a part-time cleaner when she was 10 years old. At a very young age, Chalita was very responsible and was seen with so much dedication just to help her family to have an extra income.

This brave and strong woman was so grateful for her past as it helped her to be more mature and to understand the real meaning of life.

But aside from being smart, she also proves that she is more than just a beauty queen. Chalita actively participates in the charity work at Baan Home Hug, an orphanage who was reportedly have inherited HIV, abused and have lost their families.

With her life story, Chalita hoped to be an inspiration to all young girls out there and instill that fulfilling our dreams, sharing love and compassion to other people, and respecting ourselves will make us proud in our own way.

But what’s most important for her is that she never forget where she came from and all the sacrifices that her parents made. Because parents truly deserve our honor and respect for giving us life itself.
